Advantages and disadvantages"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>3D printing is a technology for manufacturing a model of a product, built on the method of layer-by-layer building up of a volumetric object, during which various consumables for a 3d printer are used &#8211; ABS plastic, PLA plastic, photopolymers, etc.<\/p>\n\n<p>The list of materials suitable for printing on a 3d printer is constantly updated and today <strong>includes several dozen types.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>These are plastics, nylon, paper, wood fiber, gypsum, acrylic, photopolymers, metal and even chocolate.<\/p>\n\n<p>Consider the features of the most commonly used materials for 3d printing.<a href=\"https:\/\/klona.ua\/images\/easyblog_images\/ABS_2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right; height: 1000px; margin: 10px; width: 1000px;\" title=\"Materials for 3D printer\" src=\"https:\/\/klona.ua\/images\/easyblog_images\/ABS_2.jpg\" alt=\"Materials for 3D printing\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ABS plastic<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>ABS plastic<\/strong> \u2013 is one of the most famous and sought-after consumables. This type of material<strong>can withstand even strong external mechanical stress, impact-resistant, rigid and durable.<\/strong> In addition, ABS plastic can withstand temperatures up to 100 C\u00b0.<\/p>\n\n<p>This &#8220;consumable&#8221; is used when applying electroplating, as well as when soldering contacts, it is <strong>excellent for both precision casting and welding<\/strong>. Objects made of ABS plastic have a shiny surface. The material itself is translucent, with a yellow tint, and can also be dyed in various colors. Another advantage of the material is its high resistance to acids, alkalis, gasoline, grease, hydrocarbons, etc.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The main disadvantage of the material<\/strong> \u2013 is its sensitivity to atmospheric precipitation and ultraviolet radiation. ABS has a low level of electrical insulation and practically does not absorb moisture, it is non-toxic. The material is available, the price is almost two times lower than that of the main competitor &#8211; PLA plastic.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/klona.ua\/images\/easyblog_images\/yelloworiginal.png\" alt=\"ABS plastic\" title=\"ABS plastic\"\/><\/figure>\n<p><strong>ABS plastic is used<\/strong> to create such products as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">sports equipment;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">body of the device, parts of electrical equipment and other types of equipment;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">disposable tableware;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">auto parts;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">stationery;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">children&#8217;s constructors and toys;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">furniture fittings;<\/li><li style=\"text-align: justify;\">bank and discount cards, smart cards, etc.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PLA plastic<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>PLA plastic (polylactide)<\/strong> \u2013 is the most environmentally friendly plastic for a 3d printer and the best consumable. The main advantage of this consumable &#8211; is its <strong>excellent solubility in water<\/strong>, while in other cases this is the main drawback of the material.<\/p>\n\n<p>The purpose of polyvinyl acetate &#8211; <strong>is a supporting role in the manufacture of objects of unique design and complex geometry.<\/strong> PVA plastic is also quite often used as a separator for parts printed on a 3D printer. This material has found wide application in jewelry and jewelry making. The resulting models are very durable.
