Kitchen molds make it easy to prepare large quantities of food. The use of such devices improves the aesthetics of dishes, because each piece is given the required size, shape and volume. Therefore, molds for making hamburgers, sushi and pizza are in demand among business owners focused on mass production of food.
Disadvantages of typical kitchen molds
The main problem is the narrow assortment and stereotyped goods. Another important problem is low quality, along with the presence of design flaws. Low-quality molds have a rather rough design, they are inconvenient to use and quickly fail.
Therefore, in order to obtain a good product, it is important to make individual molds for food products. The market is open to new brands and products in this category, it needs to expand the range, improve the quality and improve the characteristics of manufactured devices.

The abundance of fast food burger menus shows that meat molds are in demand. Given the specifics of making hamburgers, where the cutlet must match the size of the bun and have a round shape, the most widespread is mold for cutlets (for hamburgers). From the “meat” direction are also popular ham cooking molds … As for other dishes, a very practical “kitchen gadget” is sushi mold , pizza mold and even cheese …
Each of these molds is different in shape, construction, design. The store shelves offer a range of existing products, but often customized products are needed. KLONA provides product mold design and production services. We have a team of industrial designers who are able to implement a complex project – from design, 3D visualization and prototyping to batch production of molds …

How to order production of molds for products? Price?
For a better understanding of the process of making molds for meat, ham, cheese and other products, we will list the main stages of development and production. To avoid confusion in concepts, let’s define the basic terms. So, a mold for food is called a kitchen device, with the help of which you can give a product (meat, cheese, etc.) the required shape and compact it. At the same time, this “kitchen press” is made, in turn, on an injection molding machine using a metal mold, consisting of a matrix and a punch. Thus, a certain tautology arises, because the production of molds for food products takes place with the help of an industrial mold. Understanding this feature, let’s move on to the production steps.
Stage 1. Obtaining a technical assignment from the client. At this stage, you can, in any form, provide requirements for the technical characteristics, parameters and appearance of the product. This can be a drawing, drawing, text description, or a visual example of a ready-made mold.
Stage 2. Mold design and creating a 3D model … At this stage, optimization of technological parameters, selection of optimal gating systems, designs of cooling channels, etc. After the necessary calculations, a 3D model of the finished product is created.
Stage 3. Mold making (blanks) … On the basis of the design documentation, an industrial mold is made, with the help of which the products will be serially produced. Depending on the requirements for wear resistance, temperature loads and other indicators, the mold can be made of both steel and aluminum alloy.
Stage 4. Mold test, test production of a batch of products. In order to identify possible defects or defects in the mold, a series of tests are carried out under increased working load. Identified inaccuracies are eliminated until the equipment provides an ideal result.
Stage 5. Production of the required circulation of products. Having everything necessary for the manufacture of products, we launch production on an injection molding machine. Depending on the order, production of any edition is possible: but usually a large batch is not required, because one mold produces one product per minute.
What determines the price of making molds? The main factor is the requirement for the resource of parts, as well as the number (circulation) of products. So, making a mold blank from steel will be cheaper than from duralumin. At the same time, the larger the circulation of products, the lower the unit cost.
KLONA company offers an individual approach to each client and optimization of all production costs. This means that the most optimal work scheme will be selected for you, ensuring the shortest possible time, high quality products and adequate cost.
